Every year, the VMware Community bestows the designation “vExpert” on individuals who go above and beyond in their contributions to the VMware community. Here is their description of the award:

The VMware vExpert Award is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year. vExperts are book authors, bloggers, VMUG leaders, tool builders, and other IT professionals who share their knowledge and passion with others. These vExperts have gone above and beyond their day jobs to share their technical expertise and communicate the value of VMware and virtualization to their colleagues and community.

I’m proud to say that two incredible Dell employees have been named vExperts: Kong Yang of the Dell Tech Center and Jason Boche of Dell Compellent.

I’m also excited for some of the Dell Storage community members who were named vExperts: Roger Lund, Fabio Rapposelli, and Jonathan Franconi.

If I missed anyone, please let me know. Congratulations everyone!
