Stats about this blog from 2013 – aka what did y’all read?

Here are the top 10 accessed posts from this blog in 2013 according to my hosting service. Quick analysis:

  • The longtail effect is real: only two of my top read posts were from 2012, one was from 2009! Not sure if this is because my tech blog posts moved to the Dell Data Protection community or not…maybe I’ll do a similar excercise for that blog.
  • Perhaps I need to change the guest access on my moodle instance. Jerky spammers. 🙁
  • Happy to see a couple of my fav posts on the list (#2, #6, #8, #10)

For  me blogging is about sharing info, either testing ideas I have on people with more experience than myself, or sharing information from events I’ve gone to that others may not have the chance to attend. It’s all about communicating. It’s interesting to look back and see what resonates with y’all!
