I’ve been on a break since I left Inktank a couple of weeks ago. Usually I freak out when there is not lots of stuff on my plate…but for some reason this time I really have enjoyed my break.

I’ve been cooking and cleaning my house (cleaning always makes me feel better…some weird childhood thing). I’ve been going on really long walks with Fred the Dog.

I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting on things as well. My last professional experience was…..eye opening. I’ve been working through some pretty big personal changes too. And then current events such as the Newton shootings and the Idle No More movement have had me thinking even deeper.

Everything is connected you know. We are all connected, and how we have learned to act and see our world impacts how we treat ourselves and others, and in turn creates the world for everyone.

I’m going to try and expand on this before my hiatus is over and I go back to blogging about tech again. But today is the last day of 2012, so I’m off to spend time with family and friends.
