It was a long week. A good week though, met colleagues I need to be working closer with, synced with colleagues who are helping me get some important week done, had dinner with friends and hung out with a very close friend.

I still kept up with my day job, but now things are heating up. The more I talk with other product marketing managers, it isn’t just me: we get bombarded with a thousand paper cuts from every other team in the business, yet we have no budget and no extra hands. We usually get blamed when something goes wrong, get told our ideas and plans can’t get funded, and don’t get credit for the work we do outside our primary responsibilities.

I’m at an airport restaurant, I was going to work but I honestly think I’ve hit a wall. I’ll do better if I push it away, look at foolishness, maybe buy a book. Thank you to everyone that sent me a pick-me-up on Twitter.
